Project: 3D Asteroids game for exhibition kiosk
Description:
TNT Logistics objective was to draw exhibition delegates onto their stand by providing a entertaining ‘distraction’ from the usual dry content and literature that was the norm with logistics exhibitions. The brief, in its simplest form, was to get people onto the stand to ‘relax’.
E-magine, having over 10 years experience of developing ‘attractions’ for exhibitions, produced a engaging and fun 3D Star Voyager game. Each player was prompted to enter basic personal details and then able to play a modern version of a classic arcade game ‘Asteroids’. High scores were recorded and displayed with player names to entice people to come back and try harder to get their name at the top of the leader board. The result was a very busy stand and the opportunity for TNT reps to engage with delegates in a relaxed mood, willing to talk business!
