e-SlideManager Description: e-SlideManager was developed to simplify the creation of bespoke presentations from a large library of slides and slide components. It enables the end user to choose, create and edit any number of slides, and to build a presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint format without the user needing to have any PowerPoint skills. e-SlideManager allows users flexibility to develop their own bespoke presentations, but locks down content to ensure that corporate identity and messages are maintained and uniformity is adhered to. The application can contain specific slide masters that the user can drag and drop components onto, such as images, video clips and text areas from a preset library. Alternatively, the user can simply drag and drop pre-determined slides from a library that can contain many hundreds of slides. Once the presentation has been assembled, it is then exported as a true PowerPoint .ppt or .pps file. At any point, the user can preview the presentation. Every presentation source file can be saved and re-opened/edited at any time. e-slideManager can self-update itself with any new data, such as new slides or any component types. Alongside the self-updating mechanism, e-slideManager can ‘push’ messages to the end user such as press releases or company news that is delivered from a central database to the user’s computer via a silent Internet connection.
