Accessibility Book
The Accessibility Book is an electronic reading environment and was developed to provide partially sighted, blind, hard of hearing or physically disabled individuals with the means to experience literature in an easy to use application.
Getting around the Accessibility Book is an easy task because of the intuitive navigation system. A reader can use either the keyboard or the mouse to navigate. The keyboard option makes it possible to use just one key at a time to navigate around the entire book.

Accessibility Book contains many intuitive functions that enable an individual to experience text and visuals of a printed book including:

Easy Keyboard Navigation:
Using just two keys, a user can find their way through the entire book and it's functions. TAB chooses a function button and ENTER activates it. Every function button has a spoken announcement, telling a user what it does.

Text Zoom:
Partially sighted users can zoom the text to very large print to improve legibility.

Automatic Book-marking:
The Book will remember exactly where a reader got up to last time the book was used and allow them to quickly jump to this bookmark.

Text to Speech:
All on screen text can be 'read' by the text to speech facility. Users can download alternative voices from the Internet.

Glossary finder:
Any unusual words in the text will be found in the Glossary. Use the left button of your mouse to click the word, which will display the glossary meaning. Press any key or click the title bar to close.

Reference finder:
Any word beginning with * is a link to a reference. Use the left button of your mouse to click it, which will display the full reference. Press any key or click the title bar to close.

Accessibility book is easy to produce:
Any book can be delivered as an Accessibility Book, from short novels to large reference works including pictures, diagrams, and even video. It is an inexpensive and straightforward task to create an Accessibility Book from almost any type of electronic document and in any language.
